Ska’s the Limit
Oh You Motherfakers,
Last Saturday night was amazing. It was the Ska's the Limit 17th Birthday party at Off Broadway in St. Louis. Those of you in the know, know that Ska's the Limit is the pulse of the ska scene in St. Louis on 88.1 KDHX. The whole station is amazing. If you're ever in St. Louis, just tune your dial to 88.1 and it's just like St. Louis weather. Just wait an hour and it'll change.
I sang with Jesse Irwin and the West Memphis Country and Western Ska Destroyers. We opened for The Toasters, one of America's longest running ska bands! The audience was amazing!
I don't have much time to write since I'm getting ready for my show tonight...Comedy on Parade at Mad Art Gallery. If you must know, it's listed on my Calendar. Then I'm off to LA for about 48 hours to meet with some producers at CBS. I'll be mum on that for now since the details are few.
Get the Fake Outta Here,
Bill

Tuesday, June 17, 2008 Challenging Work Hello, you Motherfaking Blogheads, I'm sorry my blogs have been automatically reposting themselves lately. If you know how to stop this, please let me know.I've been really busy lately. I took part in directing a one act play in a St. Louis contest called 7/24 where a cast mounts a complete one act play in 24 hours. A week later, I had signed up for a similar film making competition with a much broader scope. The 48 hour film competition is a country-wide film making challenge where crews get only 48 hours to complete a short film.Ours was a lot of fun to make and I met some great local talent and international crew. Our film was shot on the RED camera, the latest in digital technology. This really was the most exciting and challenging film project I've been a part of. Check it out here: pixeliq.com/mind%5Freinvented/Let me know what you think. In other news, things are really ramping up for Improv Trick in St. Louis. We'll be opening Comedy on Parade this Monday at 8:00pm at The Atomic Cowby, St. Louis's hottest night spot. Then in August, we'll open Playhouse Improv at the Playhouse at Westport Plaza. That show will include improvised musical comedies, improvised Shakespeare plays. interactive entertainment and some sketch comedy. For more info, visit www.theimprovtrick.comOn a personal note, thanks to all of you who wrote to me concerning my last blog. I'm not going to write about the subject anymore because I feel that moving on is very important and I don't want to cause any ill will by dragging out that discussion. If you want to talk with me about it, as always you're free to write me personally. I promise to blog more now that I have a bit of free time amidst all the nuttiness going on here in "Tha Lou". Sincerely, Your Deranged Great Uncle Bill
