Come laugh, or help lead 'laughter calisthenics' -- ! ************ You're invited to a strange/silly "social sculpture" -- one minute of shared laughter while lying underneath the Gateway Arch, in a head-to-belly-to-head-to-belly cluster with loved ones and strangers. Too weird to be true? Naw, just the norm for the Artica Festival -- a riverfront tradition relocated to the Port Authority. (Check out articafest.ning.com for more details) Bringing back life to the waterfront! 'Bout time! "The World's Biggest Belly Laugh" will take place at 5:55pm ************THIS SATURDAY OCTOBER 11****************** We'll meet up at the main stage at 5:30pm, toward the end of the Fire Dog set, to get loose and get in formation. At the site of a static monument, this action is intended to highlight our power to transform social landscapes by generating connectivity and healing in a playful, simple way. The Gateway to ... What's next? Gentle possibility opens us up. If you've got experience in Laughter Yoga or warming crowds up, I'd love your support! I loved the idea-image in my mind's eye but have never tried anything like this in public -- besides the "test run" last weekend when I asked four tough leather-clad biker dude tourists from Kentucky if they'd be the guinea pigs.
