Please tell colleagues --- Lindenwood Unversity has an award-winning comedy writer, producer, and actor Chris Cluess visiting on Saturday, March 14th, 2009, in the Emerson Black Box, in the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, at 2300 West Clay, St. Charles, Missouri.
He will be our guest to share his experiences and very valuable insights on comedy and writing for television.
Cluess began his career as one of the original writers on the National Lampoon and then went on to be a Writer, Executive Producer, Producer, and Actor on such TV classics as Night Court, The Simpsons, MadTV, SCTV, Cheers, Newhart, and many other television shows.
Recently the Machinima Comedy Lab hired Cluess and fourteen other superstar TV comedy writers to develop comedy web series pilots and will give the greenlight to produce four of these pilots for Webcasting.
On Saturday, from 11 am to 1:30 pm, Chris Cluess will stage a Comedy Lab, also in the Emerson Black Box Theatre, that will open to ALL LINDENWOOD STUDENTS AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC. That means that it's free, folks.
Call me if you have any questions.
