People get into improv for many reasons, but what's more interesting is why they stay in it.
So fall in love, others find spiritual enlightenment, but most create their own extended family, complete with a history and tree.
Tonight at iO West at 10:30, Dr. God Revival shares a little family love with the audiences of iO. Their special guest is John Conroy, who has been playing with the members of Dr. God on various teams through out his improv life.
Brian O'Connell, Sean Cowhig, and John Conroy played together in Top Twending Topics, a half hour improvised show taking their suggestion off of Twitter's top five trending topics the moment they take the stage. Conroy and Cowhig continue to improvise in Spin Off Cinema, where an unsuspecting extra from a well known film gets a hand crafted half hour show documenting their life.
O'Connell and Conroy also played on Extra Strength which premiered "3 mad rituals" in Los Angeles in 2008. This olympian feat compressed a Harold, a Deconstruction, and a Slacker into one tiny hour.
So come see a family reunion tonight at 10:30 at 6366 Hollywood Blvd, tickets are only $10!
