Tricksters,
Just got this notice from The New York Television Festival:
Dear Mr. Chott and Team,
The New York Television Festival has just launched the "PGP-NYTVF Comedy Talent Search," and is inviting sketch groups, comedians, and improv performers to upload their short sketches to MSN Soapbox for the chance to star in a new TV pilot! We would greatly appreciate it if you would extend the opportunity below to your students, friends, and comedy communities, to help spread the word! Feel free to visit our website for more information on our other contests or to contact us.
Thanks very much,
The New York Television Festival

2007 “PGP-NYTVF Comedy Talent Search”
Do you want to star in a new TV pilot?
The New York Television Festival and Procter & Gamble Productions have teamed up to create an innovative new sketch comedy program, and a nationwide talent search has been launched to cast performers for the show!
As part of the “PGP-NYTVF Comedy Talent Search,” PGP and the Festival are inviting the best actors, comedians, and improv performers around the country to audition by uploading short comedy sketches to MSN Soapbox. The best sketch teams in three regions across the country (East, Central, and West) will be flown to the 2007 New York Television Festival in September to form the inaugural “Procter & Gamble Productions Players,” a sketch comedy supergroup that will perform live for the festival’s industry attendees. This performance will be recorded and broadcast on MSN Video while it is shopped to the NYTVF’s network partners, which last year included NBC, ABC, FOX, A&E, Bravo, and IFC.
